1. Canceling a subscription
You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time from the account billing area when available. If that control is unavailable, send a request through the contact form using the account email and “Billing cancellation” as the project.
Unless checkout states otherwise, cancellation stops the next automatic renewal. Paid access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which the account returns to the available free or inactive state. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
Submit support cancellation requests at least 48 hours before renewal so there is time to identify the subscription. A request received after a charge is handled under the refund rules below, and any rights granted by law remain unaffected.
2. Refund eligibility
Unless a product-specific checkout provides a more favorable rule, VuNova offers the following voluntary policy once paid service begins:
- First subscription purchase: request within 14 calendar days. A full refund is generally available if the service has not been materially consumed, exported, activated on multiple devices, or used to process substantial jobs.
- Renewals: normally non-refundable after the new period begins, but contact us within 7 calendar days if the renewal was unintended and there has been no material use during the renewed period.
- Duplicate or incorrect charge: eligible for correction after verification.
- Material service failure: if a paid core feature remains unusable and we cannot restore it within a reasonable period, we may provide a full or proportionate refund or service credit.
- Usage credits, one-time processing, downloads, licenses, or consumables: normally non-refundable once consumed, generated, downloaded, revealed, or activated, except where defective or required by law.
- Abuse or policy violation: no voluntary refund is provided for service consumed before a suspension caused by serious or repeated violation.
Mandatory consumer cancellation, withdrawal, warranty, and refund rights in your country override any narrower statement above. Checkout will disclose any request for immediate performance that affects a statutory withdrawal right.
3. How to request a refund
Use the tracked contact form with “Refund request” as the project. Include the account email, product, charge date, amount, currency, transaction or invoice identifier, and a short reason. Never send a full card number, password, API key, or recovery code.
We may verify account ownership and usage before deciding the request. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible, normally initiated within 5–10 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the funds.
4. Trials, plan changes, and credits
A free trial does not become paid unless the signup or checkout clearly discloses the conversion and you provide an accepted payment method. If a plan is upgraded, checkout will show any immediate prorated charge. Downgrades normally take effect at the next renewal unless stated otherwise.
Promotional or service credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and expire as disclosed. A refund may reduce or revoke credits associated with the refunded purchase.
5. Account deletion and provider cancellation
Account deletion removes or schedules deletion of account data under the Privacy Policy; it is separate from stopping renewal. Before requesting deletion, cancel active subscriptions and export content you need.
VuNova may cancel or suspend service for nonpayment, security risk, legal requirement, discontinued products, or violation of the Acceptable Use Policy. If we permanently discontinue a prepaid service for reasons unrelated to your violation, we will provide a proportionate refund or comparable credit unless law requires a different remedy.
